The villainous Theresa Solis

Theresa Solis (Camille Guaty) is the main villainess from "Res Ipsa," episode 6.03 of Without a Trace (airdate October 11, 2007). She is a live-in researcher for reporter Christine Woods, and she was also a political activist in her native Guatemala. She was held prisoner and was beaten and tortured for five days until she gave up a name: Davis, Christine's son. Theresa did so believing that he would be let go because he was an American, but instead, he was tortured and died as a result of his injuries.

Theresa confessed the truth about Davis to Christine, who went on a long search for answers involving Davis' disappearance. Christine vowed to go public with the story to put a stop to what was happening in Guatemala. Fearing that she would be sent back to her home nation and face that same torture, Theresa turned on Christine and attacked her, and later killed her by holding a plank of wood down on her throat. Theresa was arrested (off-screen) for killing Christine, but not before she revealed that she placed Christine's body underwater.

Trivia[]

Quotes[]

  • "I couldn't let her go. A woman like Christine, she knows people. She's very strong. I'm not that strong." (Theresa describing why she killed Christine Woods)
