The villainous Shiori Igawa

Shiori Igawa (Michelle Krusiec) is the main villainess from "War Eagle," the second episode of Longmire's fourth season (airdate September 10, 2015). She is an ER nurse and the granddaughter of Birdy, who was held in an internment camp for Japanese-Americans during the latter half of WWII. Birdy was the mother of Francis Igawa, but it was also revealed that a guard at the camp slept with Birdy and conceived a son, Thorvin Hampton. Thorvin visited Shiori and revealed himself as her father's half-brother, and wanted to spend time with both Francis and Shiori.

However, Shiori had nothing but anger towards Thorvin; not only because of the sins of his father, but also because of Thorvin's plan to open a museum on the land where War Eagle (the camp where Birdy and other Japanese-Americans were held prisoner) once stood. She drove her father and her half-uncle to the area where one of the rooms stood, and in a fit of rage and revenge, Shiori locked Thorvin inside, wanting him to experience what her grandmother and other prisoners felt. The enraged villainess left Thorvin after locking him in, and due to the room's lack of insulation, he felt the effects of the cold night and died.

Longmire called in Shiori after Francis' lighter was at the scene, making her believe that her father was the killer, only to reveal that he had known that Shiori was the culprit. What gave her away was Shiori's flawless sense of direction, as while she claimed to have followed the signs, Longmire showed her the same signs inside the room. Shiori voiced her extreme anger at Thorvin and his father, stating in so many words that she gave him the same treatment that the prisoners had, while expressing pride in her actions. Longmire later handcuffed and arrested Shiori.
