The Latin Woman

This unnamed South American woman appeared in The Man from UNCLE 1964 episode The Iowa Scuba Affair. She was portrayed by Margarita Cordova.

Story

The Latin Woman was part of an unnamed terrorist organisation, probably THRUSH (they use the same distinctive automatic rifles that THRUSH use). They sought to steal a new fighter jet from a US military base in Iowa. They used scuba diving equipment to pass through a reservoir and then tunneled into the base. Their goal was to launch a coup in an unnamed South American country, placing the Latin Woman's brother in charge of that country. However, Napoleon Solo alerted the base and the Latin Woman and her fellow conspirators were arrested.

Appearance and Character

The Latin Woman comes across as very ruthless, her group are prepared to commit murder to achieve their ends. However, she comes across as slightly anxious at times. She smokes cigars.

Skills

She is able to swim and use scuba divining equipment.

Fate

The Latin Woman is arrested. Given the murderous actions of her team, she probably received a very long prison sentence.
