Jennifer Stratton (Kate McNeil) is the main villainess from "Murder Murder," episode 3.11 of Diagnosis Murder (airdate February 23, 1996). She is the fourth wife of wealthy Bill Stratton, and the stepmother to Bill's daughter, Lenore.

Jennifer had also schemed to kill her husband and inherit his wealth, and she does so in the beginning of the episode; shooting him to death in his office. She later changed Bill's will and named herself as the sole heir, replacing Lenore, and after the murder, Jennifer called her twin sister, Joan, to help cover up the crime and provide alibis for both of them. The plan had the sinister sisters splitting the inheritance, but later in the episode, the evil Jennifer strangled Joan to death; doing so to gain sole possession of the money. She placed Joan's body in her car and turned on the engine; making the murder look like a suicide, and also put contacts on Joan to make it appear that it was Jennifer in the car. The villainess also wrote a note confessing to the murder, while also wearing Joan's glasses to pose as her sister.

The ruse works, and Jennifer is believed to have committed suicide, leading Mark and Steve Sloan to confront "Joan" regarding the murder of "Jennifer." Jennifer was on her way to Mexico, most likely to escape, but Mark and Steve were able to catch her before her jet could take off. It was there that Mark revealed that "Joan" was actually Jennifer, and it was the saline solution that she packed that gave it away, as Joan wouldn't need it due to wearing glasses. What also gave Jennifer away was the fact that she placed the contacts in the wrong eyes when she made the twin switch, leaving Jennifer incredulous that she was foiled by such a small detail. Jennifer was handcuffed and arrested for the murders of her husband and her sister.
