Helen Bridenbecker (Vicki Lewis) is the main villainess from "The Skull in the Sculpture," episode 4.08 of Bones (airdate November 5, 2008).

Helen Bridenbecker is an art fanatic and collector who stood out due to her appearance, mainly her heavy makeup. As later revealed, Helen was dying of leukemia and had been in contact with a cancer clinic in Mexico for treatments, which she couldn't afford. Knowing that artist Geoffrey Thorne was suicidal, the evil Helen planned to kill him so she could make the money by selling his works of art. The villainess bludgeoned Geoffrey to death with an axe, and then rolled his body into the loading docks. It was in the beginning of the episode that Geoffrey's mangled corpse was found in an already crushed car.

Seeley Booth and Temperance Brennan encountered Helen early in the episode, and during the episode's progression, Helen made an attempt to pin the murder on Roxie Lyon, an artist and Angela Montenegro's ex-girlfriend due to the fact that Roxie inherited Geoffrey's wealth. After the axe was found, female DNA on the weapon made Roxie an even stronger suspect, but the DNA was revealed to contain busulfan, which is used to treat leukemia. The drug gave away Helen as the killer, and it was also revealed that her heavy makeup was worn to cover up the skin discoloration caused by the drug.

During interrogation, Helen confessed to killing Geoffrey, and was informed by Brennan that the clinic was a scam to prey on people with terminal illnesses. After removing her makeup to revealed her discolored skin, Helen accused Brennan and Booth of tainting Geoffrey's legacy, claiming that he wanted to be remembered as the ultimate artist instead of a murder victim. Booth stated that Geoffrey wanted to live, leaving Helen to glumly replay that neither of them would get what they wanted, right before she was arrested (off-screen).
