Frida Cruz is a villainess from "Diamond in the Rough", case #40 of Criminal Case: Save the World, the 3rd season of the crime solving game Criminal Case (release date July 12, 2016). She was an infamous diamond smuggler, with her crimes earning her the nickname "The Smuggler Queen".
Frida was also questioned by the player and Carmen Martinez in regards to the murder of journalist Jude Connelly. As revealed over the course of the investigation, Frida was in conflict with Jude (who was also revealed to be a diamond smuggler) over him mining on her territory. When confronted with video footage of her argument with Jude, during which she threatened to kill him, Frida stated that while she wanted to kill him, she eventually worked out a deal with Jude that had her receiving a portion of his ill-gotten gains. She also proclaimed that, if she had killed Jude, she would've made sure the body was never found.
While Frida was ultimately cleared in regards to Jude's murder, Carmen and the player later found a luxury bag filled with gold bars along with Frida's passport (which listed her name as "Frida Kahlo"). When Frida arrived, she was placed under arrest by Carmen for her smuggling scheme. Before being taken in, however, Frida revealed that she had planned to leave the smuggling business after learning that SOMBRA was entering the business and informing the detectives that they were setting up operation in the De Brills mine.
