Darla (Azura Skye) is a villainess from "Chapter Thirty: The Noose Tightens," episode 2.17 of Riverdale (airdate March 28, 2018). She is the girlfriend of Dwayne, a man who was killed by Charles "Chic" Smith (Betty Cooper's half-brother) five episodes earlier, doing so in defense of Chic and Betty's mother, Alice Cooper.
Dwayne's body was placed inside what was believed to be his car and dumped in Swerdlow Swamp, only for the car to be found in the beginning of the episode. Darla later appeared at the Cooper home, revealing herself as Dwayne's girlfriend and the true owner of the car, stating that Dwayne stole it from her. Due to Dwayne being a terrible person (a "heel" in Darla's words), Darla was willing to let go what happened to him, as long as she received the $10,000 he owed her. She demanded the money in exchange her silence, and with the bank not opening until morning, Darla stayed over at the Cooper house.
The next morning, Darla had invited Marcel, the manager of Chic's hostile, to the home, while Betty was at the bank withdrawing the money. She returned home and handed the $10K to Darla, but instead of leaving, the evil Darla decided that she and Marcel would remain in the Coopers' home, stating that Riverdale was nicer than her hometown of Centerville. This was followed by Marcel threatening the Coopers with a box cutter, and later on, Jughead Jones and the rest of the South Side Serpents threatened the villainess and her henchman. Darla made another threat to tell Sheriff Keller about Dwayne, only for Betty to state that the Serpents were friends with Kevin Keller, the sheriff's son. Betty warned Darla and Marcel to take the money and run, with the villainous pair acquiescing.
