The evil Cynthia Wallace

Cynthia Wallace (Anne Dudek) is one of the main villainesses from Rizzoli & Isles' fifth season finale, "Family Matters" (airdate March 17, 2015). She is one of the wives of real estate developer Ronald Wallace.

Cynthia referred to Ronald under his middle name, Arthur, during her interview with Jane Rizzoli (who was investigating Ronald's murder). She introduced herself to Jane as Ronald's wife, and acted shocked when Jane told her about his other wife, Linda. However, Cynthia's shock was an act; she and Linda had found out about each other, and the pair worked together in a vengeful and murderous plot against their shared husband.

The murder took place in the beginning of the episode, which showed Linda and Ronald engaged in sexual role play. While Linda was blindfolded, the evil Cynthia appeared and struck Ronald with a wooden headboard, killing him instantly. Cynthia's past as a softball player actually revealed her as the killer, as she delivered a forceful swing while committing the murder. After deducing that Linda and Cynthia were in cahoots, both women were brought in, with Jane interrogating Cynthia while showing her a copy of the murder weapon, figuring that the real weapon was destroyed in a wood chipper.

Jane showed Cynthia video from Linda's earlier interview, where Linda actually attempts to throw Cynthia under the bus by stating that she had written several letters to Ronald. After seeing the video, Cynthia was asked by Jane if she had secure evidence that linked Linda to their plot, and she did: a recording of the evil wives discussing their plan. Cynthia was later arrested (off-screen) for killing Ronald.
