Ambrosia, nicknamed Amber (Anna Hopkins), is the hidden main villainess from "Give It Up, Princess," episode 3.05 of Dark Matter (airdate June 30, 2017). She was the girlfriend of Tabor Calchek, but earlier in the episode, she was shown in a video transmission to the crew of the Raza as being held captive by Tabor's rival, Goren--who demanded a data file detailing Ferrous Corp's military ship-building plans in exchange for Amber's safety.

Adrian (who harbored a crush on Amber) acquired the file and met Goren and Amber to make the exchange, but it was there that Amber revealed that she was in league with Goren, as she pointed a gun at Adrian after Goren received the file. She mocked Adrian's affections for her, all the while, Goren was dismayed to learn that the file was encoded. Amber stated that she had the encryption "in a safe place," shortly before the villainess betrayed her ally and shot him to death.

Revealed as a self-serving and greedy villainess, the evil Amber revealed her plans to take the file for herself and sell it, all the while boasting to Adrian that she not only played him, she played Tabor and Goren as well. The Raza crew appeared and fired shots at Amber, who made her own escape, only to be stopped by Solara. After Adrian caught up to both women, Amber attempted to manipulate Adrian into siding with her, but Adrian saw through her and realized that the "safe place" that the encryption was in was Amber's locket, which she took from Tabor. Adrian later took the locket, and Amber was taken into custody (off-screen).
